If you sign up with a phone number, it's how we verify that you're a real person — one account, one member. It protects both you and the businesses on the platform from abuse.
We don't sell your number, share it with businesses, or use it to market to you. It stays with us, and it stays private.
Privacy and trust

No. When you join a business's cirQQle, they know you've opted in — that's it. They cannot see your name, phone number, email address, or any personal details. They can reach their cirQQle members as a group, but they don't get access to individual profiles.

How it works
Businesses can send their cirQQle members direct updates — deals, events, announcements, new arrivals, changed hours, anything they think their customers would actually want to know. It shows up in your cirQQles app, not buried in a social feed or lost in your email inbox.
What you receive depends on the business. Some are active, some are quieter. You're always in control of who's in your cirQQle.
Technically they can send as many messages as they want — but it's not in their interest to abuse it. If a business sends too much noise, members opt out. Their audience shrinks. Their value on the platform drops. The incentive is always to send things worth reading.
And if you ever feel a business is overdoing it, you can leave their cirQQle in one tap. No dark patterns, no "are you sure?" loops.
Open the app, find the business in your cirQQle, and tap to leave. That's it. The business is removed immediately and can no longer reach you. No confirmation emails, no "we're sad to see you go" friction.

Your account
You can delete your account from within the app under Account Settings. When you delete your account, all your data is removed from our systems. No retention periods, no "we'll keep your data just in case."

cirQQles and social media
cirQQles has nothing against social media, and we're not asking you to delete your accounts or change how you use it. Social media serves a real purpose — staying connected, discovering new things, keeping up with the world.
What cirQQles offers is something different: a space specifically for your relationship with local businesses, where you decide who gets your attention and nothing gets in without your say. Think of it less as an alternative to social media and more as a better tool for a specific job.
We use social media to reach people where they already are — because that's just good sense. What happens after you join us is entirely up to you.
